I haven’t said, ” I love you ” to very many people, but I have never said it to someone and didn’t mean it. Can you look in the mirror and say these three words to yourself and mean it?
Self-love is a state of appreciation for oneself that grows from actions that support our physical, psychological, and spiritual growth. Self-love allows us to embrace our imperfections and identify our strengths. It gives us courage to become mindful to our own wants and needs rather than what others want from us.
So how do we ensure we are embracing our true self and all we have to offer? You take action! You believe that you are worthy of the love that you unconditionally give to others. The exploration of self-love is not always easy. But it is much easier to navigate when you have self-loving actions.
Actions of Self-love……….
Set boundaries. Let go of the toxic people in your life. And let in the people that genuinely love and care for you.
Forgive yourself often.
Get out of your comfort zone.
Live intentionally with passion and purpose.
Trust yourself more.
Question your inner critic. It does not know what you are capable of.
Make yourself a priority once in awhile. It`s not selfish. It`s necessary.
Stand tall. Be strong. Eat healthy. Move your body daily.
Once you allow yourself to love yourself completely you will start to attract people and circumstances to support your well-being.
Loving yourself means being honest with yourself and committing to true happiness. Respect, accept and love yourself for who you are right now. Have the determination, perseverance and patience to change what you can. Nourish your own basic needs through healthy activities, exercise, nutrition, intimacy and healthy social interactions. Push the rewind button. Are you ready for what is coming……?
